7th UGC Pay: AMCTA submits memorandum

Imphal, July 30 2018: All Manipur College Teachers' Association has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister and the Education Minister for implementation of the revised 7th UGC Pay scales to the College teachers and equivalent cadres of the State.

The memorandum submitted by the AMCTA also includes the demand for a "financial assistance at a rate of 50 percent of the additional expenditure from the Central Government" .

The AMCTA appealed the Government to implement the revised 7th UGC Pay Scales "without delay" in the interest of the teachers and higher education in the State.
