Imphal, January 29 2013: 10 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (South), organized a Drawing Competition on 26 Jan 13 .

The competition was conducted as part of overall Republic Day Celebration.

A total of 150 children of various villages participated in this competition.

The Commandant 10 Assam Rifles distributed prizes and addressed the children.

He also reiterated the fact that Assam Rifles will continue to strive for welfare and security of the locals in the area.

In another occasion 40 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(s) organised a painting and drawing competition at Robert Standard School, Canchipur on 28 Jan 2013 .

More than 150 students participated in this competition.
