Jiribam, January 24 2018: Ward no 8 Chandrapur of Jiribam district has been announced as the cleanest ward by the Jiribam Municipal Council (JMC) yesterday.

The announcement was made in connection with a cleanliness competition undertook by the JMC earlier.

Ward no 5 Babupara stood second while ward no 3 Kalinagar was adjudged third in the competition.

DC, Jiribam will present the awards to the winners of the competition on the Republic Day.
