ORS Week celebration begins

Imphal, July 23 2014: A week long Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) celebration which is being organized jointly by Pediatric Association of Manipur (PAM) and National Neonatology Forum, Manipur State Branch was inaugurated at the premises of School of Nursing, Khabeisoi today.

The function was attended by Dr Ng Bijoy, MLA Khurai A/C who is also the Chairman of Manipur Pollution Control Board as Chief Guest; Dr Shyamkumar, president of PAM as President; Dr Th Nabachandra, president of National Neonatology Forum, Manipur State Branch and M Bentishori, principal of School of Nursing as Guests of Honor.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Bijoy said that the ORS Week is being celebrated under the theme 'Ensure its (ORS) Prescription in Full Description' which carries a deep meaning and exhorted the nurses to take lead role in making the people understand the core meaning of the theme of the celebration.
