Imphal, May 23 2016: The JAC against the brutal killing of W Ichal Devi has demanded a CBI probe into the death of Wahengbam Ichan (23) of Sekmaijin Khunou Mayai Leikai.

The JAC, in a statement said it will not claim the body until those in- volved in the killing are punished.

Mayang Imphal police OC in statement yesterday, said they will dispose the body as per law if no claims are made on or before 12 noon of May 25.Strongly reacting to the statement, the JAC said the State Govern- ment is inviting more protests from the people by deciding to dispose the body.

The JAC will not claim the body until the case is solved and necessary compensations are paid to the victim's family.
