Residents banned heavy vehicles

Jiribam, February 22 2015: The residents of PWD Colony, Jiribam have banned plying of heavy vehicles along the Inter-Village Road passing the colony.

Talking to JNN, a resident said the road passing the colony is in a deplorable condition and the heavy vehicles plying along this road has worsened its condition.

Moreover, the public well of the colony is also being affected by the movement of heavy vehicles.

He further appealed to the authorities concerned to look into the problems of the residents and repair the deplorable road at the earliest.
