Three more students join DESAM campaign

Thoubal, August 19 2015: Three more students have joined the indefinite hunger strike demanding implemen-tation of ILPS, our corres- pondent reports.

The trio, Laitongjam Anamika, Games and Sports secretary, Waikhom Mani College; Khudongbam Rabi Meitei, president, DESAM, Thoubal branch and Sapam Robita Chanu, Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School are volunteers of DESAM and they are protesting under the banner 'Reconsolidation Campaign for implementation of ILPS' launched on August 17 .

The hunger strike was launched from 9 am at Thoubal Wangmata Durga Puja Mandop today.

Notably, eight DESAM volunteers launched fast unto death stir yesterday.
