Imphal, September 18 2015 : Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh Thokchom Jadumani has been arrested by a team of Imphal Police Station in the intervening midnight of September 17 and 18 in connection with fraud charges.

Thokchom Jadumani (56) of Khangabok Mayai Leikai was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal West Court on Thursday which remanded him two-day to police custody.

Jadumani is likely to be presented before the same court again on Saturday.

Sources said that Jadumani borrowed Rs 10 lakh from some individuals including a woman judge and returned only 7 lakh to them.
