Imphal, May 18 2016: Troops of 12 AR, 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) launched a search operation in Sita road area and recovered Ginseng worth Rs 10,20,000 on May 15. On May 14 midnight, AR personnel were alerted about a suspicious movement along NH-102.Upon conducting a search opera- tion, the team saw some persons carrying four bags of suspicious items.

Seeing the AR team, they dropped the bags and escaped in a nearby jungle.

Four bags of Ginseng were recovered and have been handed over the Range Forest, Tengnoupal Range.
