Imphal, September 17, 2012: London Olympians L Devendro and Shiv Thapa were felicitated by the Nepali community at Char Hazar today under the joint aegis of Manipur Gorkha Welfare Union, Bharatiya Gorkha Parisang, Nepali Sanskriti Suraksha Parishad and All Manipur Gorkha Students Union.

The felicitation function was graced by president of Bharatiya Gorkha Parisang ICB Chhetry, Manipur Gorkha Welfare Union general secretary Khadga Tamang and chairman of Nepali Sanskriti Suraksha Samiti Prem Narayan as presidium members.

After presenting humble gifts to the two talented boxers, many speakers prayed for their success and glory in the coming years.
