Ukhrul, October 16 2018: Wahong Village Authority has appealed the Chief Minister, Ministers concerned for financial assistance for renovation and improvement of 7 kms damaged road from Tusom junction to Wahong village.

The villagers are facing immense difficulties as section of the road was washed away and damaged during heavy rainfall in the rainy season.

The road is vital as it connects the village to the district headquarters, Ukhrul, said secretary of the Wahong Village Authority AS Wungnaoshang in a letter to the Chief Minister.

It also recommended social worker Thanshok Vashum to work on behalf of the village regarding the matter.
