Imphal, January 13 2019: Thoubal Bn of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) conducted monthly security meet at Chandrakhong Company Operating Base.

The security meet was attended by the village Chiefs, secretaries and Ward Members along with representatives oflocal youth clubs, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) today.

During the meet the locals were sanitised and updated on current situation existing in the area of responsibility.

In addition to the security issues, future action plan in respect of civic action projects like medical camps, recruitment in AR and Army and career counselling for youth were also discussed during the meet, said the statement.
