Imphal, November 10 2014: The Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Lup,Kangleipak (MEELAL) today announced a ban on the sale of books whose writers have failed to present themselves after being summoned at their office for clarification against the use of alien words in their books, stated a release from the association.

They claimed that the author of the book "Keinya", "Sahitya Neinarol" and "Manglan Khara Shaktam Khara" namely Punshiba Soibam, Bhorot Sanasam and Khundongbam Gokulchandra were ordered to appeared at their office to compromise the issue before November 9 to which they failed to respond, said the release.

Reacting to this, the association had decided an indefinite banned on the sale of these books and their use in libraries until they made a rectification of the same.
