Imphal, August 09 2022: Mobile data services, which remained suspended since August 6 night as a precautionary measure to prevent unwanted incidents from happening due to tense situation, have been restored with immediate effect.

In a notification issued Tuesday, special secretary home H Gyan Praksah informed that the order for temporary suspension of internet/mobile data services for five days with regard to tense communal situation and volatile law and order situation in the state has been withdrawn with immediate effect in view of the positive development.

The special secretary has also instructed all mobile service providers to restore internet services in the state immediately.
