World Red Cross Day to be observed

Imphal, May 06 2015 : Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Manipur State Branch will be observing 'World Red Cross Day' on May 8 at its Head Office at MG Avenue Imphal at 10 am with the theme 'Our Principles in Action'.

On this day the Society will hold a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp and will distribute interest free loan of RS 10,000 to four widows of armed conflict under the Livelihood Support Programme, which was launched in February 2015 .

A press release of IRCS, Manipur issued by its General Secretary, Dr Y Mohen invited all IRCS members/Volunteers/beneficiary widows to participate in the programme.
