Failed robbery attempt at DIO CCpur office

Churachandpur, February 01 2023: In an apparent attempt to loot office property and other items, the main door of the District Information Officer (DIO), Churachandpur was found broken on Tuesday evening.

The DIO office located at Tuibuong has two main doors and the one leading to DIO's room was found broken while other one was left intact.

During a press briefing on Wednesday, DIO Churachandpur Mangminthang said that the office remained open till 4pm on Tuesday and the miscreants might have attempted the robbery after 6pm.No office property, however, was stolen and all files and documents are safe and secure, he added.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered at Ccpur police station and started an investigation.
