Imphal, October 31 2012: Perhaps, in a first of its kind in the State, 'Channathoibi', a multi-lingual book co-authored by Prof Jodhachandra Sanasam, Salam Tomba and Soubam Tomba Luwang, was released during a function at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound here today.

The book has been written in four different scripts namely Hindi, English, Bengali and Meetei Mayek.

The book releasing function was attended by former Chairperson of Manipur State Women Commission Dr Chongtham Jamini Devi as Chief Guest; Prof Nahakpam Aruna of Manipuri Department, Manipur University as Guest of Honour and Principal of Naorem Birahari College, Khundrakpam Dr Ngangom Akashini as Functional President.
