Imphal, August 30 2014 : Doordarshan Kendra Imphal will telecast the Healthy India programme on August 1 and August 4 with an aim to spread awareness to the general public, Th Brajabidhu Singh, Programme Executive, Producer, Healthy India conveyed in press statement.

On August 1, Dr Usham Sumati, Nutritionist, Social welfare Department and Dr Monoharmayum Ranjana, Deputy Director, ICDS, Social Welfare Department will hold a panel discussion on "Healthy eating diet" will be telecast from 6pm to 6.30pm.Dr Potsangbam Sarat Singh, DM(Pulmonary and Critical Medicine) Physician, District Hospital, Senapati, will answer the public queries on "Obstructive sleep apnea" on August 4 from 6.00pm to 6.30pm.
