Thoubal, October 27 2015: The ongoing 48-hr bandh imposed by the JAC constituted against the death of Sinam Tomboi has crippled Waithou-Thoubal Haokha road, reports our correspondent.

A large number of protesters blocked Waithou, Tangjeng, Kiyam Khonganhanbi, Babu Bazar, Haokha Mamang and Haokha Maning roads by burning tyres.

The bandh has been called since the State Government has failed to pull up the involved individual(s) in the alleged killing of Sinam Tomboi within the stipulated date, the JAC said.
