CWG plans run against gender-based violence

Imphal, November 23 2021: In connection with United Nations International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women, Centre for Women and Girls (CWG), which is supported by Azim Premji Foundation, will organise a run on November 25 .

In a release, CWG secretary Hechin Haokip informed that the run aims to create awareness on the theme "Orange the world: End Violence against Women Now!" and it will begin at 7.30 am from Chandel DC complex.

She urged the people to join the run to be conducted in collaboration with the district administration, and Chandel-based One Stop Centre, ICDS, DLSA and Wisecrabs.
