Imphal, February 23 2016: Imphal East district police commandos arrested a UNLF cadre during a search operation conducted at Hatta Minuthing yesterday. The arrested cadre has been identified as Thokchom Brendy Meetei alias Leiren alias Athouba (33) s/o Th Loken Meetei of Kongba Nandeibam Leikai. On his disclosure, one .38 pistol loaded with eight live rounds, one magazine loaded with seven rounds, four Chinese hand grenades, two 36 HE hand grenades and 10 detonators were recovered from the house of one Kshetrimayum Jugindro of Langthabal Kunja, said a press release issued by police PRO.
