Imphal, February 22 2016: Members of the Manipur Electricity Employees' Union (MEEU) staged a sit-in today at Manipur State Power Company Ltd, IED -IV office, Khuman Lampak demanding regularisation of muster roll and work charge employees of the company.

The sit-in began from 10 am and went on till 2 pm.

There are about 328 work charge employees and 38 muster roll employees in the company.

The protesters have been demanding the regularisation of the work charge and muster roll employees.

The MEEU has warned of intensifying the agitation if the demand is not met positively at the earliest.
