Imphal, July 20 2022: Mantripukhri Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) conducted a walkathon for senior citizens at Mantripukhri on July 20 .

The walkathon was conducted as a part of Assam Rifles, continuous effort to encourage and empower the locals, said a statement of IGAR(S) .

The attendees were motivated to do physical activity for a minimum of 30 minutes daily.

A total of 30 senior citizens along with members of local youth clubs from different localities attended the walkathon.
