Bishnupur, June 17 2022: A combined team of Bishnupur district police commandos and COB N Khunou 29 Assam Rifles arrested a cadre of PREPAK (PRO) identified as Yumnam Arun Singh'alias Nonglen (33), son of Y Mangi Singh of Phoubakchao, Imphal West district from Yumnam Khunou at around 11:30 am on Friday.

According to police reports, Y Arun was arrested based on inputs received from 20 AR and 5 AR and corroborated by police source.

During preliminary interrogation, it was found that Y Arun is a self-styled lieutenant of PREPAK (PRO) having allotted army No 221145 of the proscribed outfit.

The arrested cadre has been handed over to Nambol police station.
