Imphal, July 16 2018: Based on a reliable information, a team of district police commando, Imphal West conducted cordon and search operation at Moirangkhom Moreh parking yesterday at around 9 am.

During the search operation, one active member of PREPAK (PRO) organisation identified as Loitongbam Budha alias Abungo (22) of Sagolband Bijoy Govinda Keli Makhong and two other boys aged about 22 and 16 were arrested.

A press release issued by PRO, Manipur Police Department claimed that Budha is a recruiter of the organisation and was supposedly trying to go to Myanmar via Moreh along with the two other boys/recruits.

Upon questioning the boys, it was found that they were lured to go to Moreh for a trip and neither of them had any idea that they were to be recruited as PREPAK (PRO) cadres, it stated.

Incriminating articles were seized from Budha while a case has been registered at Imphal Police Station and investigation is going on.
