Kuki Black Day Organising Committee Moreh today staged a silent rally at Moreh town today.
The rally as a part of Black Day observation started from Galngam Lentoul ground, Moreh at 6 am was attended by more than 1,000 people.
Placards that read "No Naga Solution until Justice for the Kukis", "Justice Delayed is Justice Denied", "We want Justice Kuki Genocide", "Kukis are not Foreigners", "Punish the perpetrators (NSCN-IM)" etc were held during the rally.
In connection with the Black Day, vehicles movement were restricted in the border town from 6 am to 12 pm.
Government offices, schools, colleges, shops remained closed during the day.
KSO Moreh held a candle light vigil at Moreh Town Bazaar and near Moreh Police Station at around 7pm today and observed two minute silence commemorating the victims of Kuki "genocide" .
