Imphal, February 13 2020: Chief Minister N Biren has announced that a magisterial enquiry would held into the death of Sheikh Warish (24) s/o late Hessamudin of Lilong Dam Makha inside Sajiwa Central Jail under suspicious circumstances last morning.

Biren made this announcement at the launching function of an ILP portal at the Chief Minister's Secretariat this afternoon.

It is essential to ascertain the facts and circumstances leading to his death, said the Chief Minister.
