Imphal, January 13 2019: Chassad Battalion of 10 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis IGAR (South) distributed 10 solar street lights to the New Khullen village (Khangpat Centre) in Kamjong district as part of Op Sadbhavna initiative, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) today.

The items were received by the village Headmen in presence of village Secretary, youth organization and villagers.

The villagers assured their full cooperation to Assam Rifles in all its endeavours.

The villagers appreciated the Assam Rifles and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the solar lights, said the statement.
