Imphal, November 10 2014: The Loumee Shinmee Apun Lup of Manipur today reiterated the demand to call off the proposed idea of building a Sports University at Yaithibi Loukon area of Thoubal district, said a release today.

The association stated that they encouraged the sporting spirit of the people of Manipur and also understand the significance of the proposed institute, but restated their claim in view of the damage and the losses as a result of the said project, added the release.
