Library Awareness held at Moreh

Moreh, August 10, 2014: A one day library awareness programme organised by Manipur Library Association (MALA) under the Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library Foundation (RRRLF), Kolkata was held at the Library hall of Meetei Council Moreh here on Saturday.

President of Meetei Council Moreh M Thoiba Singh, Headmaster of Eastern Shine School K Shyamo Singh, and President of MALA L Sabita attended the programme as presidium members during the awareness programme.

Emphasising the need for a library at Moreh town which lies at the border with Myanmar, L Sabita said that poor students of Moreh town are being benefited by the library of Meetei Council Moreh.

She assured all possible assistance from her side for improving the library of the Meetei Council Moreh.

During the programme, resource persons including Dr Kh Khomdon Singh, Librarian of Manipur University; L Inaocha, Social Worker, and K Chaoba, Librarian of Manipur University shared valuable speeches on the benefits of library.
