Imphal, February 10 2016: Joining the Nation wide observation of National Deworming Day, District Health Society, Thoubal Zilla in association with ZEO zone III, Thoubal and Kakching ICDS, Thoubal began administering Albendazole tablet to children between 1 to 19 years of age with the help of teachers and Anganwadi workers today.

District Health Society targets to reach 1,58,608 children in the district, our correspondent reports.

The launching programme was held at Khangabok High School attended by SDO Waikhong Dr M Veto, ZEO, Kakching ICDS, Thoubal and Kakching CDPO T Anita and M Memcha and CMO Thoubal Dr N Jayenta Kumar .
