Imphal, August 08 2015 : The bailey bridge over the Irang river has been partially damaged by the recent flood causing a lot of inconveniences to commuters.

A statement issued by Makui village chairman said this road is the only life line of 16 villages, which connects the rest of State.

Still, no vehicle can cross the damaged bridge and many inconveniences are caused to commuters, the statement said and drew the attention of the State Government to the fact that the bridge needs immediate repairing.
