Imphal, March 08 2018: Tribal Affairs and Hills Minister N Kayisii has stated that a defamation suit would be filed against social activist Th Philip Thoro of Chingmei Khullen village, Senapati district for the corruption charge he made against Tribal Affairs and Hills Department with regard to release of fund for Autono-mous District Councils.

Speaking to media persons at his New Secretariat office today, Kayisii said that Philip Thoro is unknown to him and his (Philip) allegations are baseless.

"If he can produce concrete evidence in support of the charges he made against the department and ADCs, I would accept the charges otherwise a defamation suit would be filed against him", Kayisii said.
