Imphal, January 08 2014: As per a decision taken in the District Level Committee meeting for implementation of National Food Security Act, 2013 held on Jan 6, the Heingang AC level committee for survey and identification of beneficiaries under NFSA has been constituted during a meeting today at the office of the Heingang BCC.

According to a statement issued by the Heingang BCC, the meeting today was chaired by Heingang AC MLA, N Biren and attended by all ZP members, pradhans and ward members of Heingang AC.

The committee will consist of all the ZP members, pradhans and ward members of Heingang AC as its members and the MLA as the chairman.

The committee will conduct field verification for effective identification of the beneficiaries and will scrutinise all the applications in this regard before forwarding the same to the authority, it added.
