Imphal, August 07 2015 : Makui Village Authority has said that a bailey bridge constructed over Irang river at 32 Miles on IT road under Kangpokpi Block in Sadar Hills has been damaged by flood waters recently.

In a statement, the village authority said that the bridge serves as the only connecting route between Makui and other 16 villages of the area.

It further said that people have been facing lots of inconveniences as no vehicle can cross the bridge now.

In this regard, the village authority urged the authority concerned to repair the bridge at the earliest.
