Joint team inspects chandel-Pallel road

Imphal, October 04 2015: Chandel Naga People's Organisation's (CNPO) Development Monitoring Cell along with public leaders, area village chiefs and EE, SO and contractor of Project Implementing Unit (PIU) on Saturday inspected the Chandel - Pallel road section of National Highway 2 .

The tour, according to the Cell, was taken out to assess actual status of the ongoing renovation, rehabilitation and repairing work implemented by PIU under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

Briefing media, leader of the Cell, Kanral conveyed that the PIU would ensure completion of the unfinished portion of the road.

The PIU would also fill up potholes and repair the Bailey bridge at Liwa Sarei , he added.
