Imphal, August 04 2021: A fire engulfed a house near Porompat Soibam Leikai road, opposite to JNIMS gate around 9 pm on Wednesday.

The house belonged to one Pebam Basanta (59), son of late P Amujao of Soibam Leikai Ayangpalli Road.

A Fire Brigade team immediately arrived at the spot and dosed the fire in the late hours with the help of Porompat Police team.

The source of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
