Imphal, July 02 2013: Taking serious note of the public complaints over improper functioning of District Hospital, Thoubal, Deputy Commissioner of the district T Ranjit has sought a report from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) concerned.

In an official letter written to the CMO, the Deputy Commissioner has taken note over the inept handling the administrative works in the hospital, unauthorized absence of staff, untidiness, non-installation of various sophisticated and expensive equipments, etc, among others and sought an action taken report by next DLOs meeting scheduled on July 4 at 11 am without fail.
