Governor pays tribute to Sardar Patel

Imphal, October 31 2024: Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya along with officers and staff of the Governor's Secretariat paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, nation's first Home Minister who worked relentlessly for the unity and integrity of India, on his birth anniversary held as National Unity Day, at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan on Thursday.

In a release, PRO Raj Bhavan informed that the Governor also extended heartfelt wishes to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, emphasising that the festival of lights symbolises the triumph of knowledge over ignorance.
