Imphal, July 30 2018: Immediate medical assistance was provided by the medical team of Shangshak Battalion of 10 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQIGAR (South) to six children of Shangshak village who met with an accident near Change Junction on July 29 .

The Gypsy in which the children were travelling met with the accident when it made a sharp turn at Change Junction, said a statement of IGAR (South) today.

The injured children were brought by the villagers to the Unit Hospital of Shangshak Battalion in critical condition where they were provided with immediate medical attention and aid to stabilize.

Some of the children suffered multiple fractures of limbs, said the statement.
