Imphal, January 27 2023: Shangshak Battalion of IGAR (South) organised interaction with ex-servicemen of general area Phungyar and Shangshak on the occasion of Republic Day.

The ex-servicemen were also briefed to keep a strict vigil on youths of the village and guide them for choosing right path and keep them away from drug menace, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.

Meanwhile, Somsai Battalion of 10 Sector Assam Rifles/HQ IGAR (South) conducted interaction and coordination meet with village heads and village authorities of Tusom and Poi villages in Ukhrul district to maintain peace and tranquillity in area and also discussed the contribution done by Assam Rifles to improve the relation for-national development.
