Imphal, November 26 2013: High Court Bar Association, Manipur today observed National Law Day at the Association's conference hall in High Court of Manipur Complex, Chingmeirong with Advocate General of Manipur Th Ibohal Singh gracing the event as the chief guest.

Delivering the key-note address, Association secretary advocate A Jagjit Singh said that the national Law Day was first observed by the Supreme Court Bar Association in 1979 with today's event marking the first observance in Manipur.

The observance presided over by the Association vice president M Hemchandra Singh was also attended by AMBA president Kh Mani Singh, Assistant Solicitor General of India C Kamal Singh, Additional Advocate General of Manipur Kh Nobin Singh, Senior Government advocate RS Reisang and senior advocates N Pramodchandra Singh, RK Nokulsana Singh, L Shyamkishwor Singh, I Lalitkumar Singh, Ibotombi Namoijam and HS Paonam.
