Imphal, November 25 2016: Priyank Kumar Singh from Uttar Pradesh, a junior engineer of ECI Company, a construction company engaged in Jiri-Tupul railway project under NF Railway was abducted from his camp site located at Noney in Tamenglong district at around 6:45 in the evening today.

Tamenglong District Police have launched rescue operations in different suspected areas, informed a source.

It is not yet known which militant group is behind the abduction.
