Ukhrul, May 21 2015 : Tangkhul Shanao Long (Tangkhul Women's League) and Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (Tangkhul Students' Union) have strongly condemned the assault of one Daniel Lungleng of Challou village in Ukhrul District Headquarters on May 18 and the bomb attack on NPF office of candidate Ramshang at Kamjong on May 20 .

In a joint press statement, the two bodies strongly condemned the two incidents while urging all to restrain from such activities in the future.

Terming the acts as condemnable, TSL and TKS said that such incidents are not only detrimental to society but also endanger the general public.

The two apex organizations then strongly appealed to all the candidates to refrain from violence in view of the 1 June ADC election which is drawing very near.
