Physiotherapy Unit of RIMS to remain closed for OPD patients

Imphal, July 18 2022:
The Physiotherapy Unit of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) will remain closed for the OPD patients with immediate effect and until further order in view of the rising COVID-19 cases in the State.
A notice issued in this regard by the HOD, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Akoijam Joy Singh said that the step has been taken up to avoid overcrowding in the PMR OPD and the Physiotherapy Unit.
However physical therapy activities for the in-house patients shall remain unaffected, added the notification.
