Senapati, July 18 2014 : Senapati DC Jacinta Lazarus inaugurated a work shed of Barak Foods Enterprise at Church Road colony, Makhreliu village in Senapati distruct today.

Speaking at the occasion as chief guest, the Deputy Commissioner lauded the founder and her team for taking up such an encouraging venture and giving job to many people.

She also assured to help in whatever possible way for the growing of the enterprise.

Proprietor D Helen Nishi, the key founder of the enterprise, in her key note address narrated how she started with a small capital started her venture.

Established in 2003, the enterprise has initiated active social upliftment activities at the village level and had raised fund through harvesting of agro-based products like cabbage, potato, garlic and locally available wild fruits.
