Consumers' club notifies

Imphal, July 17 2015 :
Consumers' club, Manipur had notified to the people to report any case of price hike during strikes and blockade in the State.
The general secretary of the club in a press release alleged that the government is not keeping any price fixation committee to control prices of essential commodities during the time of blockades and strikes.
The club also appealed to open a toll free consumer help line number to address the issue of price rise and quality control of commodities.
The general secretary also said that Imphal Market Centre is a key market and also urged the consumers to get cash memo signed by the shop owners and get the names of the consumer written in the cash memo so that any complaint can be dealt and consumer rights are delivered by the consumer forum.
