Imphal, November 16, 2012: The 27 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector organised a 'Run for Fun' programme for children of Keirak village of Thoubal district on November 14 under the theme 'Friendship Through Sports' in which 32 students participated and over 350 spectators including various dignitaries cheered them.

Along with distribution of prizes to the winners, motivational awards were also presented to the participants, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.

On the otherhand, 6 Dogra of 26 Sector AR celebrated Children's Day at Molcham and Phaisanjang village of Chandel district on November 14.Various cultural programmes including folk songs and traditional dances were presented by school children of the area, the release added.
