KKSDDA submits memo to CM

Imphal, August 16 2013 : Kasom Khullen Sub-Division Development Association (KKSDDA), an apex body of Headmen of the villages has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister of Manipur, through the concern MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Hills and Tribal Affairs on August 14 .

According to a press release of KKSDDA, the demands in the memorandum were, an early implementation of ADB sponsored double lane Tupul-Kasom Khullen Road construction under DONER Ministry, and to open Indo-Myanmar International border gate at Namlee/Wanglee (Manipur, India) - Phayang (Myothit Township, Myanmar).

Excerpts of the memorandum were, the denizens of the area and Tangkhul particularly those living under Kasom Khullen Sub-Division have been quite grateful to the Govt of India and Govt of Manipur for having sanctioned/approved the proposed construction of ADB sponsored Tupul-Kasom Khullen Road, the release stated.
