One day free medical camp held

Thoubal, February 16 2017: A one day free medical camp was held by District Urban Health Mission under the directive of District Health Society Thoubal at Centre for Rural Development (CARD), Thoubal Kshetri Leikai today.

Chief Medical Officer DHS Thoubal, Dr N Jayanta Kumar Singh, Senior Medical Officer CHC Heirok Dr Y Nokul Singh and District Programme manager DHS Thoubal Ch Basanta Singh attended the camp.

Facilities including Ultrasound, X-rays, blood test and other laboratory facilities were made available at the camp for free.

District Urban Health Consultant L Khogendro Singh said that there are plans to organise such camps in other urban areas of Thoubal.

A total of 150 people participated in the camp and medicines were also distributed free of cost.
